Portraits of Johnny Waiting For Dinner on a Windy Day

Wordless Wednesday: the Garden in Monochrome

Poem

Silence

The winds blow silence from the silent lands,

From endless sun on empty sands;

They gather stillness in their wings,

And in their wordless whisper silence sings.

Easter Blossom From the Desert

Blooms of the wild Blue Palo Verde (Parkinsonia floridum)

Wishing a blessed Easter to all of you!

Sterling Silver Rose

Note:  This is the hybrid tea rose "Sterling Silver", originally raised in 1957 by Gladys (Mrs. Gordon) Fisher (United States).  While the color is slightly blued in these photographs because I was shooting in shade, this is a true lavender rose.  All photographs on this post are straight out of camera.  From my garden, March, 2015.
